Hi Folks,
This is my first post and new to cod4 in general, so I hate to start off with a sour note.
Twice in the past month just by hitting my mouse button rapidly when using a pistol somebody warned me once about not to use something called x-fire and tonight, I was warned about something called scroll firing.
Guys, I just have the original box game with patch 1.7...and using a logitech trackball (tear-shaped with ball in the center). Unless there is something in the logitech driver s/w that I am not aware of, I am just hitting the left clicker as fast as I can. No hacks or cheats or consol mods. I wish there was a way to prove it.
I realize you all have been getting a lot of hackers lately so I can understand the sensitivity there, but being warned of something I'm not doing ruins the fun. I can't be the only wild firing newbie out there who gets in a few lucky hits. I know that for serious players, that can be frustrating, but then again, serious players have other servers to go to if they want something harder, say fow sniper-bolt only. Thats where I go to be really humbled.
Aside from that, since my coworker got me hooked on this stuff, KKK broadcast has been my goto server at the end of a long day of work. The freedom to use any of the perks and weapons, and the admins being pretty good about kicking the spawncampers, has made it my favorite site.
Ok I'm finished whining. I'm open to any suggestions.

the first time I heard about x-fire I also thought it was a hack or something weird!
