Improving my FPS/Running speedHw

I know some of you don't like me. Keep it polite or don't comment.

I have a avg computer getting 30 fps stock and 40-50 with config. Any advice on how to bump up speed. etc.
(Don't say new hardware/better service provider/closer to server)

Any ideas help.

Well there is a command you can type into that sometimes helps fps. I'll post it here later if you haven't tried that command yet.

That 125 fps bullshit won't work. He only has like 50 fps so don't even bother.

When I play on s1 running around I get like 250-300 fps constant, when i look up it can get nearly 600 if I don't have it capped off

Houston has a post somewhere (maybe the how to) on improving FPS, getting rid of things like shell casings and othe graphic eye-candy.
What res are you running? Lower res = more FPS.
