Nabil, if the cast was on most of your arm, then expect the arm to be a bit skinny. At least that was the case when I was a child. And yes it got stinky and I was pretty cautious at keeping it clean.

I got back from the hospital and got a new fibre-glass cast. The doctor said my radial bone has start to re-attach but i sill have to come back for 3 weeks :raging:
also when the cast was opened, it hat a lot of bruisers. Turns out when i bathe, some of the water went in the cast and start to damp, all sticky and make those fungus spots, it was really disgusting. but im fine! :bounce:

Nabil, my mom used to cover my cast with plastic bags. Sucked to put them on but it sure kept the water out.

Yo nabil, when I was 7 I broke my arm. More preciselly I separated the bones, the 2 large ones... (dunno how they call in English). Anyways, I had 3 operations and around 6 months of cast. here are some tricks. Do u know the big plastic bags for the trash? Well put in around your arm when showering. Sometimes, especially if the cast is bad-quality made, it will have little parts of it coming out. Like a sock I mean, dont pull it. Take a sharp blade and leave the cast always smooth. That way, it will be cleaner and more confortable. Well hope it helps. GOOD LUCK!
