I vote that there should be a minimum ban time of 3 weeks for anyone requesting to be banned. This will discourage noobs from wasting time and turning this into something other than what they say it is.

Maybe they should be required to write an essay proving why they should be unbanned w/ correct MLA format and use of secondary source citation.
