Time to renew our BO & BFBC2 servers

Well folks,

6 months have passed by already and it's that time once again to pay for another 6-month installment on these 2 servers.

IMO, we should cancel the BO server. For the past month, the server ranking on it has gone down like no other. It's a useless server and adding a bfbc2 server into our lineup only made it worse. On the bright side, if we do cancel the BO server, I'd like to raise our bfbc2 player slots up to 24. Our monthly expenses should stay the same if we do that instead.

Either way, I have to make the decision by May 7th so I can put a stop on the automatic payment on it.

I'm sure I can already see the outcome of it, but it is my duty to let you guys know about it and to get your thoughts on the matter.

We have to pay for player slots on bc2?

I think our b2 server will get more action quite shortly.

yes, and it's $1.24/ player slot on bc2. Comes out to almost 15 bucks for another 12 slots.

and yeah, our server has potential once I get my ass on it. :giggle:

Doesn't matter to me, I don't have either one of the games, but it does make sense to get rid of the BO server if nobody ever plays on it. :)

Also while talkingabout Budget cut, I think we should lower the number of players in cartoon server. Never seen more than 10 ppl play on it at the same time.

And fuck black ops. You know what to do.

Misunderstood me there. I mean to remove the player slots so that we can save up some extra cash for future investments. 64 people server with no more than 10 ppl on at a time seems like a very Fat Albert-esque waste to me.

BO is a nono, also I think we should keep the bfbc2 server slots at a medium, lets get it a little more popular first then when it starts filling up, slap some more slots on there. Right now it would be a waste of money IMO.

payment wise, having a 10 player maximum or 64 player slot server costs us the same amount of money.

What I mean is we should probably cut the server slots of cartoon from 64 players to 24 players since most of it is goingto waste. Not eliminate it comepletely, but cut the unesscessary slots since there is not enough people to fill them. Hope this clears up the misunderstanding.

Whats the next step lower for player slots for all of our cod4 servers? Is there one? We never see over 40 people, server 1 has a 30 player max, even with the pw id max the slots at 40 if possible. On our other servers we aren't ever going to see 30 players. If it's possible to get a 32 player slot server for those, it might be a better option.

Just read sodas post XD..... SnD server could use 24 slots too. SnD with more than 14 per team is stupid.
