Scrolling of rules on the server

OK so the scroll through of rules on S1 is hit and miss i've seen it like twice the hole time i've played on S1, i don't know if the !rules works in chat (just checked it dosen't) So maybe Wally or someone who knows how should put in the !rules option in chat so people when they join can be told to view the rules. This eliminates any chance of anyone saying "But i didn't know!" Just a thought, I personally love having the !rules option so i don't have to bother a mod or somone on what i can/cannot do. :)

Oh and hi guys one more ban and i get a free coke ;)

Spawn campers will be removed when I am on duty just as always.. I prefer a clean server over my own playing time so enjoy yourselves ladies

The rules are pretty simple and ones that usually apply to every server.

Don't hack. The end. Some mods may feel the need to kick spawn campers. I personally don't care about them anymore unless it's overly excessive.

Personally, I don't think we should allow scroll fire. It's cheating. I also don't think we should allow dead silence. It's too nooby. ALso, no marty, and no last stand. I also don't think we should allow firing an ak47 from teh hip unless you just stopped running or you just landed from a jump. M14 may oonly be fired when leaning to the left (Aim down sites) and leaning to the right (hip shot). No foul language. Everyone entering the server must greet with "Howdy Partners" or we temp ban immediately. Everyone must make fun of cent0, if he is on the server, at least 3 times a game. Failure to do so results in perm ban.

Ok we should use this thread to simplify our rules to something we can al agree on.

No Spawncamping.
Hacking, Glitching, Recuiting, Advertising = Instaban
No harassment, racism, or disruptive behavior.

I do not think we need to warn about kicks. Those rules are pretty explicit. A kick is a fair warning as it is. People getting kicked will just have to deal with that as a kick if the mod doesn't feel like warning them. I mean people get to see the console spam all the time, they get yelled at by plenty of guests and members of the server for breaking rules, our rules are pretty much univerasally applied to all cod4 servers, and they get to watch people get kicked for offenses. What more warning could you possibly need before a kick?

I find that some glitching deserves kicks rather than straight perma-ban. IMO, if they're glitching to go say under the map like Showdown and start killing people, then obviously they're doing it to get an edge. If they're just trying to go outside of the map to fuck around then, a kick should be more than enough warning for them though.

I like to glitch when the whole server is doing it, say Moonwalk settings and what not.

Just say glitching is instaban. It's way too confusing to put in the game chat "Some glitching is kickable, but some is bannable. So you might get kicked or banned

The rules are universal but most of the time people whine anyways, i also hate getting kicked and joining back up and noone tells me what i did wrong then i do it again without knowing and im banned. That's the only thing i get ticed off about. I just think letting thw console send out the rules every 5 mins and when you join up would be nice.
