Pop singers always have this bullshit to say dude. There's a whole program for them here at berklee. It's sad.
She didn't even write the song dude. Out of pop stars set of "skills" they only really have business knowledge, stage appeal, and "songwriting" to talk about. She doesn't even have songwriting.

I like how her only understanding of what she sang is from reading it on a peiece of paper, which is evident from her saying
"yea annddd like, these parts were in quotation marks so that means....."
as opposed to
"and i wrote it so this is what I meant"
What's sad is this was written by a professional writer who knew EXACTLY who his target audience was, and they are just eating that shit UP.
