Sometimes people just get pissed in game. When it gets out of hand, have a mod talk to the person or do it yourself. If there is direct and constant harassment of a guest on our server for any reason, that is breaking the rules (we're ruling out confirmed hackers and zach308 here). In that case a mod should be contacted.
I have seen Silo get angry in game. I myself have been angry at times. Some of our admins and a lot fo our staff will throw a few insults in game. If I see this happening with anyone, silo included, on a regular basis, that's when it's time to have a talk, but until then, it's just part of life.
We value freedom of speech on our servers. This includes people complaining about our rules, calling people noobs every now and then, the occasional "fuck you asshole, learn to play," the occasional "I Hate <insert big political figure or star here>" (tolling), ...etc. The only thing we don't allow is constant and interfering harassmant or trash talk/arguing. This is simply to keep the quality of play time better for our guests and members by keeping our server both a safe place to play and keeping the screen free of too much malicious chat.
The only way we as mods can know when the problem gets to the point of harassment is when one of the parties involved says so. If the problem here is just that silo can be kind of a dick, then there's nothing we can really do but ask him not to be a dick. If you are complaining about being harassed or about someone else being harassed then you should contact an admin through private message or tell the person you see being harassed to contact an admin through private message.
Also, if the issue is very serious, please make sure you can document the problem with screenshots or things like that. It helps the admins out a lot.
I hope this clears up the issue. The forum is not a place to hold long threads talking about how much of an asshole one person is. I personally (and I think the rest of the staff would probably agree) would prefer it if personal problems with other members were dealt with more privately. I am just a noob mod so I am not going to lock the thread, but I would recommend that someone do so.
EDIT: Because I just noticed someone already posting on this, I am going to go ahead and lock it to prevent any bashing of silo here. The forum is not a place to do that. I'll tell an admin I locked it and they can decide to unlock it if they wish.
