Weird komp idea

Here is another kompetition idea.

again, TDM, best 2/3 rounds. Tie breaker defaults to shipment, default shotty class only, no rpgs.

The rules of the first 2 rounds are decided as follows:

-One person decides the primary weapon that will be used by the other player. Shotties are not an option.
-The other person decides the map. He decides the perks his opponent must use as well.

Then for the second round, the roles are swapped.

So for instance, assume I am playing wally. He says I must use a silenced scorpion. I decide to make the map shipment and wally must use the perks eavesdrop and uav jammer, use smoke nades for spec, perk 1 must be bandolier. I am still free to use any perks and secondary weapon i choose.

Next round, he gets to decide what perks I use, and I decide that he must use the m40a3 as his primary.

Maps not allowed - Bloc, overgrown, creek.

So i may think making wally use a sniper is a good idea cuz he cant snipe, but then he may end up picking a really big sniping map and just camping his ass off, which is something I don't want to deal with, so I may reconsider making him use a sniper.

One rule - dead silence will not be allowed as there will not be an oppurtunity for both players to be using it, and that gives too big of an advantage in 1v1s to the person using dead silence.

HELIS WILL BE ALLOWED ..... BUT.... if a heli gets called, the player getting killed by it is allowed to use the default lmg class to take the heli out, but must switch to secondary weapon (usp 45) after the heli is downed. No other primary weapon but the one picked by their opponent can be used to kill another player.

I like some of the ideas you had.
Here is a way to decide who get's to pick what weapon his opponent must use. The person who get's challenged by another will be able to pick his/her opponents primary.
For example, if you challenged WaLLy, then WaLLy will get to pick what primary weapon you get to use, and you get to pick the maps and perks.
Because of the reasons you have mentioned, i do agree with you about Dead Silence. I think Dead Silence is fair in one on ones, but because one person picks the others perks, it makes it not fair. On a side note, I think it's best if people only can pick one thing. For example, instead of having someone pick maps and perks just allow that person to pick the perks only. I don't think it's fair for someone to be able to pick three things (perks, maps, spec nade.) Just have one person pick the first and the second person pick the second map or something like that.

i like the idea, but let people use the dead silence.
it would be a waste of perk slot 3, cuz you can just crouch and move, so it could get to an advantage to the enemy

no its not. You are completely restricted in your ability to move around the map when you dont use dead silence and your oponent does.

City.....

There are 3 matches max. The first 2 follow the who gets to pick what weapon thing. Each person gets a turn to pick the other guys weapon and a turn at picking the map/perks and such, the roles switch off. 1 match one person does one thing, the next match they do the other thing.

I do think the map/perk/spec nade thing is fair as this balances out what gun will be best for what situation. Aside from this, each player gets a shot at picking the perks/maps/spec nade. Tie breaker is shipment shotties only, so everythings even there (default class, no rpgs)

the point of having perks is trying to get an advantage from yer enemies.
dead silence is a very nice advantage.

Exactly, but not having the option of also using that perk against someone who is using it makes it unfair. If dead silence was allowed, this would undoubtedly be the result of many perk choices to the point where it would be a boring feature of the komp.

Dead silence is allowed in like every grudge match i have ever seen and has been allowed in every komp we have had so far.

If you need it THAT bad that you cant play in the komp if you arent allowed to use it, why even pretend to be competitive in the first place? Perks shouldn't be a crutch. They are for fun.

You dont have to remember them while youre playing. The only one you have to remember while youre playing is about taking out the helis.

Quite easy to double check the rules prior to setting up a match. Quite easy to play the match once it's set up. Therefore, quite easy to follow the rules.

I play for fun not to follow a bunch of rules. Some will prolly love this idea I don't I'm sorry to say

They aren't rules, it is to make the game interesting by adding a new dynamic. I don't think anyone needs to propose an idea for a kompetition like "all perks and guns allowed" because that's a fkin obvious komp.

Games are based on rules. It's all about doing something within a set of rules better than someone else or better than yourself.

I love the sound of this, and i agree about no dead silence.

517 and city, i play for the same reason, but sometimes playing normally gets a bit boring, so something llike this is interesting.

I do something interesting every day when i go to work. Lol

Honestly, in this komp idea, the amount of rules are left to the 2 opponents prior to the match. If one decides not to pick a perk for the other guy, then who cares. There are no other rules except the ones specifically stated. The komp idea was that mechanics are decided ahead of time in 2 different fashions by each player.

So, if one decides not to use their advantage (being able to dictate what the opponent can use for a primary weapon or waht the perks/spec nade are), so be it. Your choice.

OMG LETS RIP EACH OTHER APART.. THEDUDE THIS IS TERRIBLE.. TOO MUCH TO COMPREHEND IN MY SMALL MIND!!! FAIL... (i like it, thumbs up)
