Well ive been having crappy computer problems to the point of averaging 20-50 ping in cod4. I ended up getting a new computer, but i found i dont have the code to install cod4 on it. I may buy another copy of cod4 but i really dont wanna spend more money right now (new computers are expensive!). I do have black ops installed on the new computer, and that works great,but until i find the code or buy another copy of cod4, i wont really be on our cod4 servers.

I do have a steam now, and i dont really have a choice of using it or not since its mandatory for black ops. I have no idea what exactly my username is(woops!), but if you can pm me your steam username, i can add you.

So it might be a while before i start playing cod4 again. soz =/

Is anyone here pretty good at zombies? That has got to be the best part of Black ops.

Btw, after being banned from 2 servers, ive changed my clan tag on black ops to 3xK. I didnt want to get rid of it, but i got tired of all the banning and kicking.

Yeah if you have cod4 on yer old comp, start cod4 on there, then get the keycode form there.

20-50 ping is very good. Also, ping has nothing really to do with your CPU, more your internet connection. I hope you didn't buy a new PC b/c you had a 50 ping. :giggle:

yeah me and felon average 200-300 ping every game! but sad to see that you won't be playing cod4 anymore :(

my ping is 350+. fuck i hate my country's bandwith!
my fps is always 20-25 then 60-75. pretty fucked-up RAM.
I lost my keycode too! Lucky I had copy my cod4 game for keycode and skin purposes :wavespin:

so soz about the mistype i meant FPS not ping lolol 20-50 ping would be fken awsome!

riku when at his mom's averages like 10 fps while playing LoL with me (on lowest graphics) his comp at his dad's is slightly better (that's where he plays CoD) but still seems to have a lower fps then me, even though his dad's is probably slightly better then mine. (his internet sucks though)

cod4 is installed but now i gotta find the patch off the internet.
What patch am i gunna need? ( i already unplugged my cpu and dont wanna have to do it again this late ={

That depends on what disc you have.

If you have the "Game of the Year" version, that version is patch 1.6 so all you'll need is the 1.7 patch which can be downloaded from our Download Center:

If you bought cod4 from the very beginning then you more than likely have patch 1.0 and you'll have to download every single patch. You can't go from 1.0 to 1.7. Sucks, I know.
