justin Beiber is nothing more than a cute looking kid like pretty much any other. His music skills are that of a high school hobbyists. The little videos he makes on youtube of him acting out other videos or making his own little jokes just aren't that funny at all. They might be funny for his age. The only thing he's unusally good at is being confident and being a star. He's just a cute face a shit ton of people are using to make money. He doesn't deserve the attention he's getting from the fans OR the haters. I spent my time hating him when i actually found out who he was, but to be honest, that was like a day or two. He's not worth the energy people put in to hating him.
He might not deserve it, either. Imagine youre a cute 13 year old. You know 5 minutes of licks on piano, which is enough streched out for at least an entire album if youre gonna sing...etc. Some guy gives you a suitcase of cash and says "Hey, you do some dances we show you, do what we tell you in these videos, let us help you with your music, and act like youre the shit, and you can have all this money." Would you turn that down? Basically, the deal is: Get paid, get laid, be a star......no work necessary. I'd take it. I couldn't do the music thing, but i'd do the rest.
