Nabil, here's a few things you should remember:

1. We don't control what ppl say so long as it's not racist or harassing.
2. Some types of people on the internet are not friendly. We just have to deal with them or ignore them.
3. We can't do much with screencaps of names of purported hackers b/c we need their GUID for banning if we don't ban them on the spot.
4. Unless it's |KKK| we don't bother them too much because there are other KKK clans out there with a legitimate reason to use the tags. (I ask nicely to change from KKK tags as a courtesy while they're on our servers though. Most comply)

Nice post, good effort but remember these things.
Might make life easier in COD land.

Those dam kittens are pawing around on our servers again? o.0 //// and is it the guid? I've always thought it was IP adresses, or that just a term for IP adress....... I have no idea.

So what happened in the first place? What was Kouter's dumb action? Thanks for saying that pwn because I thought about doing this a couple times. Just giving you guys screen shots or something. I know to tell you guys in the shoutbox. I just always feel bad that I have to make you guys leave the forum to take care of a hacker lol :)

I think GUID stands for Global User ID. It is not the IP address. GUID is generated during installation from an algorithm that takes the key code and turns it into.... well... a GUID. Regardless of what computer or network you are on, your GUID will be the same until you change keycodes.

Correct TD, the GUID is a unique game identifier.

The kkk guy wasn't using tags, similar as they are. OUr tags are |KKK|. Should a player we don't know use them in that configuration, they'll get a warning and a ban. Goss did alert me of that player, but they wern't really our tags so I let it slide. If he was acting like an admin, then yes, it would have been ban hammer time.

If you want to report hackers or spawncampers, we have a topic for that...
