Punkbuster issue

Well i havnt been at servers for a long time
and today i just saw that there were few ppl at crossfire server so i decided to join
i got kicked out by punckbuster 6or 8 times even so i have nothing in my pc exept antiviruse alliance of valiant arms browsers steam punkbuster and cod4 and some other games from steam
and i was kinda lagging more then usual
so can anyone tell me haw can i solve this issue bc its gets annoying i tryed to dissable punkbuster but it wont let me in server so
any suggestions?

S3 is now a PB server sadly. We will now have to face thefail which punk buster will bring. Including but not limited to: Random Kicks for no reason, excess lag, etc.

And the only issue I have with PB, it is kicking me for using MSI Afterburner. Even turning off the on-screen display and leaving the manual GPU fan control switch ON results in a kick... :(

PB does not kick for no reason. Qart, try turning steam totally off and any other programs that might have an in game overlay such as MSI, FRAPS etc. I have to shut MSI completely off to avoid being kicked.

Pay attention to the message PB gives you when you get kicked then Google that exact message. Should be a simple fix.

i have never had an unsolvable problem with pb. I haven't had a problem at all with pb for months and months. The only time i HAD a problem with punkbuster was in cod5.

PB is fine. Updating PB solves it for the most part.

The only issue for the folks that are running custom built PC's. We like to run MSI Afterburner that lets us manually turn up the fan speed so the GPU doesn't get hotter than what we normally like to. :(

I played numerous rounds tonight and when I was done playing, it was at 78-79C! When I have my fans up, they rarely get in the mid-50's. Sucks but if that's what it takes to prove a point then so be it. Pwn, if my GPU fries you're gonna buy me a new one :p

PunkBuster is a bitch, like more then nick.
No server with PB will load on my computer because PB doesnt work.
Please take it off S1 and S3 are my favs, and while i can mage it S3 (barely) I will flip Shit if you put it on S1

well, sounds like you have a problem with your set up. Fix it. And @ wally, PB will not prove anything. It didn't when i was being watched for hacks. No one gave two shits that I was playing on PB servers.

Ive tried reinstalling dude, doesnt work
I even reinstalled CoD4 and it doesnt work
And wally it means i will go insane, it will push me over the edge

last time i got this problem of random kicking. turns out that server and my cod4 pb is outdated. so the only way to fix this is to UPDATE YOUR PUNKBUSTER

You might also wanna disable or change the shortcut of Steam overlay, that kept kicking me off from pb servers.
