Our Krew as a whole is NOT ready! We barely started informing people we're going to make the switch soon. We're trying to give people enough warning before anything rolls out.

What I'm trying to avoid is people making the switch when we wont have any servers on 1.7 'til next month at the very earliest. What I'd like to see is give a date 1st, at least a week before so people know about it. Once the date gets here, we publish links so people can start downloading and updating.

Not everyone is tech savvy like you Pug. They may end up downloading it and installing the patch, and we'll end up getting new threads like "OMGWTFBBQ I can't find the |KKK| servers!" etc.

true but thats not always a bad thing lol. yer i can see that it could happen and what a nightmare trying to get it back to 1.6 lol. maybe when the time comes some1 will just have to make a list of place to download it from to save members time

To get back to 1.6 all you have to do is uninstall and reinstall.

But, I see what you mean. I think that I might just stay in 1.6 for a while and just leave the 1.7 patch unopned.

I still think my mass email and PM Idea would help a lot of people out. If we can come up with a firm date on the move and then Email all the members with download locations, clear instructions on how to download and install the patch and other details about it, it would help quite a bit.

An exact date will be given once I get closer to getting the servers. I'll know by this week when I'll get the other servers.
