I just dont think moderators should post in locked topics. They are obviously locked for a reason and should not be allowed to be posted in by anybody. Just my suggestion, dont hate me.

Edit: it's also kind of hypocritical for mods to lock a topic and then post in it. Its basically just shutting people out of open Krew conversations

Topics are locked when theres no more of a reason for more posts or specific people are to post there for instance staff bans and ps. seems u want to say some more on the topic so i unlocked it for ya

There is a point where Mods need to lock topics, but if another issue comes up, a mod should either re-open the topic or just post his thoughts.

I just hate getting notifications when i cant post in the topic. If a topic is locked, please move it to the mod section to post so we dont have 100s of notifications when we cant participate in the discussion

Yeah I agree with you guys, hell if I know why the topic can get locked and why the Mods and above can still post in them. To me that's pointless to have a lock on it because even if the topic is locked it can still go on forever, lol.

Anyways, I'm not sure why the topic for stevo is locked since I didn't lock it and haven't heard anything about why it's locked. Apparently we have the power to view posts that are locked or not, and not only that but reply on them too, lol.

if I post to a locked thread i don't usually know it's locked to begin with.
The forum should warn that we're posting to locked threads to begin.

Anyhow, what's the big deal if moderators do post to locked threads?
I believe that's a perk of being a forum moderator.

Some threads are info only, and naturally are locked. If another staff member want's to add something, that their right.

Some topics get out of hand because of spammers, trolls or plain old arguments. In most cases, additional comments by staff are not pointless spam.

Staff had a "Close this thread" radio to click on - while in Quick Reply mode.

I'm sure it was an accident. In the old vBulletin I had a bad habit of pressing tab + space, which usually results in entering whatever you have in the Quick Reply box.
