Yeap, Happened to me too. Banned the wrong guy, got unbanned 30 minutes later! ;)
 
Never mind! It is not the end of the world. The problem is I still can't join S1 because of key code in use message. I don't know what it means. Is someone using my cd key?

it means either someone found your cod code key, or you downloaded the game on another computer, and someone is playing cod on that computer at the same time you're trying to play yours

we had a thread about this, I will explain again. When ur internet goes off for a couple of secs (enough to get thrown away from the server) the server still thinks u r there, obviouslly u r not. Why u cant enter is because ur key code in inside that server so the COD4 doesnt not allow the same CD to be twice in different or the same server.

How to fix it: U cant, just wait till the server realizes u r not there and it will allow u in again
 
also, i will add, if you change Wifi networks, it will take some time for the server to realize that you are not online from a previous network. I noticed this when my dad and I were sharing a key code.
 
I think Trasgu was right. After a couple minutes, maybe an hour I could join again. Thank you very much for your help.
 
edgeshot you should of read the first post lol he said he was sorry for temp banning you meaning ur only banned for an hour haha glad to see you back tho

I know, but the ban was one obstacle, the other is what I wrote. After rebanned I still could not join the server.
