so my laptop recently crapped itself and ive it cleared from all dust and had some pieces ref fitted ect. orright.. soo i open cod4 and i realise all of my settings have changed completely. i look at my rank 49 my laptop has basically been restored to a long long time ago and ive got all my recent data wiped off ... GRRRR RAAAGE

Man that sucks, and for what it's worth you should always have a backup of your profile just in case you end up losing it all, trust me it's happened to me before and now I keep a backup of my profile on my HD, and external HD and a flash drive to be safe. I made a post about it but not sure if it's all right, but you can google it to find what you need to know for the operating system you have, good luck man!

I never save my profile either, I find it more fun to restart everytime, the only thing left to do after you beat everything lol

Don't worry you'll level up fast. I had the same problem too and i just got commander yeesterday. It took me 2 months and Im pretty sure youll take one week =D
