They can also be made in PSP as well. With Plug-ins you can make just about anything in Photoshop
Photoshop 7 is years old. you should go dl phooshop CS5

what u do is dl adobe cs5. it doesnt matter where u get it from really. then u want to dl a keygen for adobe cs5. after both are done downloading, disconnect from the internet. install adobe using the keygen. when you enter the key it will appear as a green check or a red ex. if it is red x then use a different key. once it is green go into ur firewall. I am not sure what firewall you use but what u want to do is block the photoshop.exe from accessing the internet. once adobe is blocked from the internet then you should be good to go and you can connect to the internet. if you dl the one above then they should also have some instructions that will probably work. i just prefer the firewall method. If you allow the program access to the internet then it will find out that ur key is wrong and will tell you that u need to buy it and u only have a certain number of days to try it out.

but personaly i like cs5 because many brushis are working only on cs5

i havent had great luck with portable versions of any software. they are always glitchy. and it doesnt have half the stuff the cs5 extended version has. what do you think they cut from the program to make it so much smaller?

May I offer an alternative? I know maybe this isn't what you are looking for, but for beginners in the subject I always think the best program for editing images is Paint.NET, you should try it, is like a photoshop but is less sotisficated.
This should introduce you to the world of advanced editors but it will be easier than any other program you use, off course, it's not comparable to a Photoshop but it should be enough to begin... Best of all, IT'S FREE!
