It's happened to me a few times before. A restart on the machine normally fixed it.

You can also go into the multiplayer options, click on CD key and press vertify. Thats how I fixed it. or you can retype it

lol, that happens to me all the time, and I think I figured out y.

If my internet falls suddenly when Im in the middle of a game I automatically get kicked out of the server, however I HAVENT loged out. Now u know that the product key is to recognize a game. If I try to enter another server or the same 1 (doesnt matter) u r not gonna be able cuz u are supposed to be still playing on that server u were kicked and its impossible to have the same CD twice. Thats y it will not allow u in till the server realizes u r not log in. This can take 10min or 10 hours, it depends.

I think Trasgu hit it on the nail, it's happened to me several times and the same thing what he said works for me as well. It's normally when I'm playing like Trasgu and suddenly the connection fails or whatever, and your kicked. The game still "thinks" you are online and playing so when you try to connect again it tells you your KC is in use. There are times I have waited 5 mins and others longer than 30 mins, I guess it's different but just be patient and it'll eventually work again. Oh, and that's assuming someone doesn't have your key code too, lol.

It used to happened to me whenever Nick was playing at his Mom's.. I just bought a 2nd copy of the game...lol
