Got Black Ops lag?

There are many reasons why you might be lagging. Graphic lag & internet lag. To make most of your graphic card while in-game try this: (Windows)

1. Start up steam and run BO
2. Press CTRL + Alt + Delete
3. Click task manager
4. Click 'Applications' tab
5. Right click 'Steam'
6. Look for 'Go to process'
7. right click Steam.exe and click set priority
8. Set to low
9. Go to applications tab
10. Right click BO and press go to process
11. Right click BlackOps.exe (what ever it is) and set priority to high*

* Setting BO to Realtime WILL crash your game and steam and maybe your system
( It does it to me. May vary with your own system)

To make most of your internet, try this:

1. Refrain from downloading pr0n and movies
2. Upgrade your internet/ Call your ISP and ask WTF is going on
3. Change Modem/Cable
4. Stop steam downloads before going in-game

If you have an underpowered system that might help , i don't know. But if you're playing with a good system and still have lag, i don't think its due to these issues. There are also config files out for download - check gameservers.com that have been helping people boost their FPS.

I think the main problem is that the software itself was poorly made and puts a ton of stress on the CPU.

someone should take a video or them self lagging I would like to see how bad they are lagging and there computer specs. Just curious sinced i havent been lagging yet

i tried the above and it only works for single player and it dose not make that much difference. i know for a fact that i should be able to run bo maxed out on at least the core i7 as i can with cod mw and mw2 but bo is using all 6 cores and 6 threads of my cpu at 100% and 1.5 gb + of ram. there is no way this game should use that much just to run it.

pug is the problem while you play single player or multiplayer or both?

erm when it first came out it used to lag a little on single player but as of now i dont know as i have not used it for a while

i have just thought that when i played zoombies in single player mod that never lagged once
