I enjoy the musical talents of the members of the band, but the vocals just get annoying. The drummer is very good, as is the guitarist, but the vocals are kinda suckish.

I don't mind screaming vocals all the time. I am a big Trivium fan, but they mix it up quite well. With Slipknot, it just all sounds the same. To be fair though, i haven't made it past a couple of songs by them.

I am not trying to be a music snob here, man. Just because you like the songs and the band, it doesn't mean they are good musicians. I love jimi hendrix, but his guitar playing skill gets raped by any serious musician today. If it weren't for Jimi, though, we wouldn't see distorted guitar anywhere near what it is today. This is not about TECHNICAL ability, it is about MUSICAL ability. Jimi had neither, but he was an innovator, nonetheless, and I love his music.

i said i loved hendrix and that there wouldnt be distorted guitar like there is today without hendrix. He is not a great player. I love his music. Loving someone's music doesn't make them a great player. I don't think anything I said was bashing him. He was extremely important, and I gave him credit where I believe it was due.
