Here are some general rules for Grudge Matches to keep things fair. These rules apply to all matches, regardless of GT/Map/Specific rules, unless otherwise specified. I have compiled this list in the interest of eliminating any confusion about the rules. None of these rules will conflict with your ability to have grudge matches with specific rules, such as Tubes Only, or No Marty, or Knife Only...etc. There is a topic, which can also be found on this board, for discussing the set of rules found here.

1.) ALL SERVER RULES apply to Grudge Matches, with the exception of "All guns/attachments/perks allowed." Rules concerning
guns/perks/attachments will be agreed upon ahead of time by both parties.

The list of server rules can be found here - http://www.cod4kkk.com/the-4-1-1/server-rules/ .

2.) NO DELIBERATELY RUNNING DOWN THE CLOCK by means such as refusing to spawn, or attempting to avoid contact with your opponent.
Camping IS allowed, unless the camper is doing so to run down the clock by avoiding any confrontation with the opponent. You are allowed to
hide, but as long as the match is going on, you must actively be trying to kill your opponent or achieve whatever objective the GT calls for.

3.) NO RECONNAISSANCE FROM THE DEAD. When you are killed, you can watch your killcam, change your class, or type into the chat shortly. This
is the full extent of what you are allowed to do in-game after you are killed. Obviously, you can run to the bathroom. You just aren't allowed to use spectator mode
to locate your opponent. This applies to games with teams of 2 or more as well. You can't go to spec and find anybody.

4.) In SnD and SAB Sudden Death gametypes, NO TEAM CHAT AFTER YOU DIE. You can talk into the
"Say ALL" game chat, but not in relation to player locations or in attempts to give anyone help. Once you are out of respawns, you are out of the game for that
round. You CAN NOT give away player locations or use spectator mode to locate the opponent after you are dead. If you wish to let your
teammates know where someone is, then you must do it before you are killed. NOTE: This ONLY applies to games without respawn (SnD and Sabotage Sudden
Death).

5.) NO AVOIDING UAV by refusing to spawn. If you wish to avoid UAV, then use UAV jammer.

6.) As a SPECTATOR it is your job to make sure that you do not interfere with the players' ability to perform. If you are talking too much, and
they kindly tell you to reduce the amount you say, then do it. If a spectator becomes too big of a problem I think they can be temp banned from that server (if
kicks do not work, of course). Spectators also have the responsibility not to give any player information about the other player, in any way.

If you are in the middle of a Grudge match, and you are having problems with people following these rules, then quickly go to the shout and ask a moderator to spectate the match. This is our job. Just go to the shout, type in the server number and the problem (if there is a password post that, too), and a mod will hopefully come on and work things out.

If a player cannot play by the rules, then they forfeit the match. It's that simple.

I think all of our members are mature enough to follow these rules. Most of them are common sense. If you are going to play the match, then you are actively trying to kill your opponent the entire game. Obviously, finding opponents using the spectator mode is cheating. Obviously, if you die in SnD and can't respawn, then finding the opponents in spectator mode and telling your teammates where they are is cheating.

If you guys have any problems with these rules, post them here - http://www.cod4kkk.com/grudge-matches/general-rules-for-grudge-matches/ . Obviously, how strict we are about these rules will really be decided by how much the people playing in the Grudge Match care about them. If neither of them are complaining, then there is no problem as I see it.

Play fair and have fun. :13:

How about this for a rule?

If you're going to challenge someone, make sure you have your profile set up to show your location.

That way times can be set up for matches without having to guess what timezone you are in. Dude.
