New computer

Im looking into getting a custom built computer (all the parts im buying) so i need suggestions on parts all must be from new egg!! so uh (Damage made me post this hes a slave driver!!!!!!!!!!)

my budget is $1000 i will have windows 7 i already have a new monitor and all i need is what goes inside a case

you'll need a motherboard, CPU, RAM, a hard drive, an optical reader/writer and prolly a Video card, as the on-board ones can suck.

Not enough info? Let us know what software you need to run. What do you use the PC for? Do you have stacks of photos or music?

So you don't need a case, yes? What about a power supply?

She wants a gaming PC. Should be able to put together a nice one for 1000$.

The case she has did not come with a PSU.

Ill start looking at some things tomm. Bed time for me.
