Again, new shoutbox...

Hey guys, I know we have already discussed this but I would like opinions on a new chatbox. This sucker seems to mess up a lot on me and others have said the same. Hell I think even the old one worked better than this current one we have.

Wally, where do you get these chatboxes? I would also like to help you out finding one, let me know what you guys think

I don't much like the shoutbox either. The letters are too small and hard to read, and half the time it cuts off the bottom of my letters or is slow to post up and i have to refresh it. Here are some links i found really quick that you might want to check out blu. Not sure how much help they will be but it's a start. I'll just add this in to make Wally feel worse and put more pressure on him.

Damage, the links you posted aren't any good. Those are 2 different types of boards and neither of them work here.

The first shoutbox with the sound that couldn't be turned off was AjaxChat Integration. The one currently in use is Hack's Park Shoutbox. There aren't very many shoutboxes to pick from either, so my best guess would be to use the one I mentioned above.

Yea Wally, I would say go with nneonneo and we'll see how that one turns out. If this one is also a "dud" then we can always revert back to the first one we had, I believe it was working better than the current one we have

Yeah I've noticed the same thing with the shoutbox. Of course I never did try the previous one since I wasn't on here yet. But I've had the same problems, letters too small, cutting off the letters at the bottom, etc. But I'm sure you guys can find a better one for it! We'll just have to try... oh and I like Blu's sig too, pretty tight man! 8)

'Til this date I haven't experienced any of the issues with the current shoutbox. I've jumped on the forum on my Hackintosh, the Mac laptop and XP on my desktop, used Firefox, Safari and Chrome and no issues at all. Either way, I want things to run smoothly for everyone so I'll make the switch hopefully tonight.
