Major Lag on S1...

Ok I'm sure you guys have noticed S1 lag issues, and just awhile ago it was really bad, it seems to not be fixed.

I was wondering about your thoughts on moving the Broadcast FFA to another server, one that is not in the Dallas area. I'm not sure of the problems, and the only reason I don't want to do this is because many of the people that play there already have that IP in their favorites list, what do you guys think?

Another alternative I just thought of is to have 2 Broadcast FFA servers, in different locations, for when something like this happens people can go to the other one. I can already here people saying "we don't need 2 of them, blah blah blah", but honestly the other servers don't get used for hardly anything anyways, so why does that matter LoL. Anyways just a thought ;)

And since it's in a different area, we'd bring in people from that area more too. Good idea.

Yeah HJ, the only problem that I see is that the words you gave, "almost" and we already tried the FFA and TDM on S1 once and people didn't like it. That's the reason I suggested making another one exactly like it, just a different location.

I know people are getting tired of Broadcast FFA, but ever since we have made this server it has almost pegged out in 1.6 (remember the limit is 64) and not too far behind on 1.7 (I've seen it up to 45 myself), there are many people that love it so why not do another one?, these are my thoughts ;)

I set up S4 as you said, Blu. Now start getting the folks to migrate to S4. ;)

S4 is located in Seattle by the way. 8)
