SSD time

I'm in the market for an SSD now. My work machine is a freaking beast so now me wants XD
I need at least 128 GB, but that leaves me very little download room. I would prefer to get up to 256 GB if the budget permits. Except, what can I get for around $100 that's not a piece of junk?

Gonna pick up a 2.5" to 3.5" bracket and install it tomorrow. :D

You for sure want to run in AHCI mode. I wonder do you have the latest AHCI drivers for your motherboard?

I was using the latest AMD AHCI driver. Turns out a lot of people say to avoid it like the plague. I removed it and allowed MS's W10 AHCI driver to install and 4K got even faster. Only problem is that 4K-64 thread is broken. Seems to me like the MS driver can't handle NCQ, but NCQ is made for HDDs so I don't think it will matter.
