Black ops 3 beta is free for users that own a copy of black ops 2 on steam, it should be in your library as i'm posting this. So if you own black ops 2 enjoy the 4 day black ops 3 beta!

- Seems like the users that have got AW and other cod games on steam have also received the beta access.

After an hour and half of solid gameplay, i will be looking forward to the full release. But that's just me

Sound is bad again, don't play if you want a competitive gameplay.

Has interesting concepts, gameplay needs to be smoothed out(is beta that's the whole point) and game needs to be optimized(see previous parentheses).

I think i will like it, the shotgun is OP ...again... had weird problems with mic chat...i like the movement so far, very treyarchish and bound to get even smoother by release..the health seemed right to me...will keep reports coming in ..over and out

the beta was perfect on ps4, I chose the tempest specialist but then switched to the sparrow. The game just runs so fluidly and the wall running is seamless with the game play and mixes the maps up quite a lot. The only things i found annoying was the r.a.p.s and the flying RC but overall. epic game and worth the preorder.

i went for sparrow right away when i saw that bow - no regrets :3
As prescott said its still in beta but i like it lol couldnt hear any1 talking(twas too quiet)
i think ill preorder it but i wanna play the next couple days and see how much i like it - i took some1s shift last monday and so they might take my shift tomorrow if im lucky :3 and i have thursday off
hopefully when it is finished the game doesnt suck lol

Just gave a little feedback to the treyarch team via the beta response page..I suggested they even out the bs deaths by ppl boost jumping out of the way after being shot..I figure upon getting hit once..the extra boost jump should be disabled for a second or so, to prevent crazy bunnyhop escapes from hell that ruined advanced warfare for tons of ppl. Oh and they can take those OP shotties and insert them in the nearest orifice

The boost jumping and crap is what will make me hate this game, I feel.

I've heard (I'll try it out today) that the game would be one of the best had they not added the double jump.

Its far less aggravating that AW since you can't boost in mid air and change direction, boost sideways and bs like that..

Just played some BO3.

The guy you play as just feels really weighed down. Super slow running.

The rocket jumps aren't as bad as I expected, but they are enough for me to not want to ever buy it.

The weapons are good but sound much quieter than they should.

The free killstreak you get for just being in the game for a while (whatever that is, i just picked the bow) is freaking lame.

The maps are cool.

The swimming is fun.

The community is crap (but it's CoD so I expected that.)

Yeah... so if they could get rid of the rocket jump I might actually buy the game. Or atleast have some sort of game mode with every gametype that just disables rocket jumps and wall rides. I might get it then.

They'll have barebones. Which will do that, but hardly anyone will play it.

and yes +1 the sound sucks once again

btw rip your ears because explosions are 500000000 times louder than anything else.

I foresee lots of hours of fun for me....its my style,i loved bo2, less bs than AW , smooth.. I'm buying it definitely..or maybe i have already i'll have to check

Been playing it since it appeared on my steam list. Great game, nice fluid movement. Can't comment on the shottie because i haven't used it, but absolutely love the gravity spikes. Nothing like taking out 4 members of the opposing team in one go. Think i might pre order this.

Well the black ops 3 beta is coming to an end, after solid 15 hours of gameplay i decided not to pre order it. The game is decent and enjoyable but i want to see how it handles the release on PC and after that i will consider purchasing it. I enjoyed the specialists and the similar black ops 2 killstreaks. After all i will not trust a franchise that has technically fucked over the PC crowd for the past 2 years.
