Your Pets???

Well myself and the person i work just saved a puppy from being put down as he had not had anything to drink or eat for 3 days or even made any type of noise for that amount of time. we picked him up one friday and about half an hour in to our trip home the dog started to make some strange noises (choking sounds) when my friend put his little finger in the dogs mouth he could feel something stuck in the back of the dog throats, once he removed the item we saw it was a blue lego brick, with it removed we felt a bit better about the dogs chances but new the next few hours/days would be telling of if the dog was going to pull throw or not. it only took half an hour to an hour and he had perked up a bit so we gave him some water and a small amount of puppy food to see if he would eat or drink anything and sure enough he was able to eat and drink again. as the days past he got more and more like a puppy should be and after week was bouncing around and barking etc we did then send the last owner a short video of how he was now and all he said was can we have him back. bearing in mind this puppy was only about 5 weeks when we got him and the last owner was going to put him down due to not being able to make any money off him. it shocks me to think that some people can act like this towards animals and the blokes whos dog he was just did not give a sh*t for this animal as there was no money in an unwell dog but his dad was very upset and sad to see the puppy go.

One other thing myself and my mate did on the way back home from getting him was to name him Bruce as it was the only name the dog responded to (so i guess you could say that he named himself) but we felt it unfair on the dog to not be named if the worst was to happen. but he is now 10 weeks old and fully fit and also now a full time workshop puppy, bit of a shame he is mainly white but he is turning out to be quite an awesome dog with a very good character, gets on well with other dogs and children, loves attention like most puppies i guess and is very gentle

this was how big he was when we first got him, bare in mind that teddy next to him is about 8 inches high

thought it would be interesting to see what pets people have and share the story of Bruce with you guys and girls

Bruce as he is now, getting pretty big already but such a soft and stupid dog lol


also going to see another pup friday if i finish in time if not it will be over the weekend. it will give bruce a play mate during the day so i can get on work with out having to keep stopping to keep him busy.

this pup is two weeks old, but due to be put down due to the owner not being able to take them on a house move. she is 8 weeks old but sadly at the moment has not had her first jab so that will be one of the first things that happens if i bring her home as she can then come outside to play with bruce in a few weeks time

Why the F do people get dogs and then turn around and move or some other bullshit and feel the best thing to do is kill the dog. If you're going to get an animal you should be prepared for most circumstances and be able to properly take care of it.

If you get that second one, name it Katlyn, Bruce's alter ego

because some people have no frigging common sense so dont think that far ahead. then when a problem turns up they just like to take the easy and simple way out, which just goes to show how much they cared for the animal in first place

we have a really fat cat! i really love that cat, such a cool individual. when i used to come running into the room, or when i argued with my mom over some bs, and the cat would slowly raise its head and look at me with that priceless look, like... wtf, why the the hell did u wake me? or, wtf is going on now again.. u aint feeding me and you arent stroking my back, so why the havoc you incompetend mortal??? i often thought: this is the only living creature that sees the world with an equal amount of cynicism and sarcasm as i do!

some fooking people are unreal, i was meant to be going to look at the above dog today for a playmate for bruce, called the lady up today and asked what time would be good to come over and get the puppy and her reply was its ok i had to take her to the vets this morning to be put down due to nobody wanting her ( i had already earlier in the week i would be happy to put down a deposit to keep hold of her until friday but when touching that subject i got no real reply apart from yes that would be good but even after asking i got no where to send payment to). i really dont see why it ended this way as i told her i would call or txt at lunch time to arrange time for picking her up, well after letting this down and wanting a buddy for bruce to play with during the day while im working i heard of another lot of puppies that were having a hard time finding homes so got in contact with the owner and im going to look at them sunday afternoon and all being well will be picking one up tuesday afternoon (got to pick up tuesday afternoon as they are all having their first set of injections on monday, which leads me to believe that these puppies wont have such a bad outcome if they dont get homes soon due to the owner spending money on injections)

these puppies are husky cross staffy pups. he did send me a few photos of the two females but most of them are pretty poor quality to be fair.

so im really hoping that on tuesday bruc will have a new friend to keep him company during the day while i have to work and dont always have time to keep him company.

sorry for mini rant but it really gets me when people do things like that even though the pup is wanted and money was offered to keep hold of it until a set day.

she is not 100% husky and im hoping she is more staffy than husky but anyway they will be at work with me just i dont have time to keep them busy and work at the same time. so im hoping they can play and i keep still keep an eye on them without stopping work
