I just got my refurbbed iPad Air from Apple today for testing websites and applications that I make in school.

I do have an extra 18 gigs of space. What games/apps do you suggest to a newbie iPad user?

Coursera and TED (or TEDiSUB) free online lectures on multiple interesting and entertaining topics (popular natural scrience, politics, history, high tech and much more)
Snapseed - great photo editor for iOS
Google maps, chrome, drive, and mail
Maps.me - free cache-able maps for offline use when abroad
Flightradar
Skype
Shazam
QuickMark - QR Code reader
Calc HD - iPads don't have a default calculator, lol (at least there's none on my 4gen)
SpeedSmart (the speedtest.net app)
TeamViewer
Microsoft office apps and free Adobe Acrobat
iZip Pro (lets you archive and un-zip files on iPad, extremely useful if you do have some zip files as iPad can't open them otherwise)
