Here it is!

Due to Houston's idea for a Site Wide Scrim, I thought I would see how we would go with a Krew Kompetition.

You can nominate your interest in this thread, and you will be entered in the KKK Krew table here

Single entries will be put on the table and teamed with another player, and the two players will need to sort out a time to play and a preferred map/gametype. A server will be set aside for this purpose, and set up with a password. If neither player is a Moderator, please arrange a mod to be there to lock the server etc. Hopefully other players will make themselves available to spectate.

You can also talk or PM amongst yourselves and enter your intention as pairs, and again, work out a time to play.

It's up to you. You can choose what ever you like. Perks. Weapons. Maps. Just so long as you both agree and let whichever mod/admin know before hand that is running the match.

Generally the match will be a best of three, or longer if players prefer.

Once we have 16 players the comp will be closed off, but there will be another one

It's a Krew Competition but he just put the K in there to make it match.

Great job man I'll participate and kick some KKK butt.

Are the first Rounds just a single elimination?

A best two of three might be a cool idea, having each player picking his preferred map/gametype, then having the third map/gametype determined in a random fashion if necessary. It should be easy to come up with an idea to pick a random map or gametype. What do you guys think?

Well, the entire comp is based on a "knockout" format.
But each round can be as many games as each team likes, not just a single game. I would see a "best of three" to definitley be the way to go, if not a best of five if the players like. And if the players wanted to go S&D maybe even more rounds.

I will start entering names in the "tree". Each team can PM me when they have worked out a game time or post here (preferred, so members will know when games are on).

Good question Damage, which brings a good idea.

This comp was designed as a 1v1 comp, where I refer to team, I mean once 2 players (that are playing each other in a round) have sorted out what map/time etc they would advise us here.

Having said that, if this proves successful, our next KKK Krew Komp could consist of 2, or even 3 person teams.

PS. Crosses fingers I don't go against Sargass, Cheez, Cave or AVC. ;D
