The May day run is the biggest free biking festival in the U.K. It traditionally takes place on the first monday in May (May day here), and coincides with the Jack in the green festival in Hastings, west sussex. The run sets off from Locksbottom in kent to its destination in Hastings. All riders are welcome wether they ride a Vespa or a Harley, and anything in between. Myself and Mrs Animal normally go down by train (I can't ride anymore),although we couldn't make it this year, and savour the atmosphere. Here are a few videos in order to get an idea of what goes on. Last year the attendance was 41,000. No figures yet for this year.
