This came up on my facebook news feed today. Normally i'd take it with a pinch of salt, but more than one company has mentioned it.
Rockstar confirms that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in the works!

After making a billion dollars in three days with Grand Theft Auto 5, there was no chance Rockstar wouldn’t make GTA 6. But now we’ve heard official mention of the next installment in the epic franchise from Rockstar itself.
It’s far too early to hear about locations, characters or when the game
will be set though, but we do know the preliminaries of GTA 6 are in the works.
"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas,” said Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies during the Develop games
conference, according to TweakTown.
“Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New
York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in,” said Benzies, who has been a lead developer of the GTA series for more than 10 years.
Does Benzies already know where the game is at least planned to be set? We reckon so, but it may be a long, long while before such details are officially announced. GTA V is set in a fictionalised version of California, the San Andreas of the PS2/Xbox game of the same name. So it probably won't be there. What do you reckon?
