Spam filter help for Samsung phone

My Sister was telling me tonight that she gets a ton of spam email on her Galaxy phone and can't figure out a way to mark them as spam in order to reduce them. She uses Frontier email. Would this need to be done via Frontier, or are there specific settings for the phone she can use?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about Frontier, but with Comcast I set a spam filter for Facebook and that carried to my phone.

I'd bet that this sort of thing goes through the email service rather than the device.
