Hey guys!
Just wanted to ask you whether anyone tested or knows if MC works well (this includes with fine FPS) on MacBook Air? I've got Mac Air Early 2015 13" with Yosemite 10.10.5 on it, it's 1,6GHz Intel core i5, 4Gb ram, Intel HD 6000 1536Mb graphics card.

[DOUBLEPOST=1452264851][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, if it does, will it have the same controls, version of the game / game options and connection to the same servers as MC for Windows?
Many thanks!:)
[DOUBLEPOST=1452264999][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I wouldn't do anything like installing crazy graphics mods or recording

*MacBook Air

The current version of Minecraft runs on Java and isn't optimized very well. The MacBook Air isn't designed for gaming and will get warm/hot, but it should be playable.

Why are you still running Yosemite when El Capitan has been out for months & received 10.11.2 update?

Either didn't have time or was too lasy to update at times. Is El Captain fine? I've also seen a review that it doesn't run Microsoft office well, and I need it badly so didn't want to run into any problems with office performance.
[DOUBLEPOST=1452269085][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh and probably the final question. Can I install the game on both the Mac and my home PC without paying twice?

on my old, 2010 heavy used macbook pro it runs decent, not with smooth frames tho (unless I have like 4 chunks of render distance), but that's because mines a little loaded with a lot of BS.

Yes, you just need Java installed.

What are you going to do in MC? Straight survival or other things?

I'm not yet sure if I'm buying it at all, but I do want to.
If yes, I might play some survival and then go on to explore some new modes if everything runs smoothly. I won't have much time to play anyway, unfortunately.

Is the Krew server still running? Does anyone play there?

Yeah it's up but everyone is sort of waiting for 1.9 to come out already.

Which means that it's not too populated but you expect it to change when 1.9 is out? Is it coming out any soon? I'll probably buy the game when I'm done with my exams - on January 18 or so and play for a while but probably not too long, unfortunately. Just want to see everyone again, actually :D
