GunGame is DOA, at least every time I look at it. So, i thought (if it's not too much hassle) we could bring back toons. I know it will probably go DOA as well, but i'd like to give it a shot. I will play if it goes back up (and more than once XD).

Also, it could be used for the next scrim.

For those not familar with this server, it features custom maps such as Family guy, South Park, The Simpsons, Sparta, Lego map, and a few others. I'm sure you can see them on Youtube.

Personally i'd like to see a mixed mode server, ffa, tdm,sab,etc all on rotation, with custom maps (maybe with toon maps as part of the rotation). But obviously we'll see what everyone else says.

i'd hate to lose all the cool mw2/BO maps..in reality we could just switch game mode to regular and add toons maps..imo toons gets old as well..

That already exists with A2 Mixed HC, which is what it was on for the scrim. Just need to stop GG and start the mixed server. Maybe a rotation would be in order? Say something like 1 week for the modded server and one week for the mixed? I'd probably hop on and play the mixed when i have time.

Are those maps on GG? (I'm assuming so) I haven't played it in ages. Also, would taking that server down mean that those maps would be lost if we ever put GG back up? Also, could those maps be inserted onto the toon server?

Yes they could,just move them over to the maps folder within the toons config..toons is actually "modded" as well which is why it's not "ranked" like a1..so we could'nt just move them to the mixed HC server, but yeah if Wally loads another server partition onto a2 so we could switch it back and forth like GG and mixed I can load the gg maps. i dunno how to set it up on the first place though

Personally, I was never a huge fan of toons, but if more people will play it, then it's hard to say no

I´m for a2 mixed server + toons maps on it. Is toons a special game mod, too? Like gungame..everyone starts with the same weapon etc.? Never played toons so idk that.

toons is just custom maps ,a few of which were cartoon themed..customs maps mean unranked, so you start over again from level 1 and it doesn't apply to your regular rankings.. but all the game modes are the same as regular,the only "mod" is to allow custom maps.

There's some toon maps in the server now, but not maps like family guy and south park, I'd be fine with them being added to gun gamen and then leave it so.
