[POLL] Broadcast console announcements

Should the Broadcast server have more subtle console announcements?

  • Yes, they are currently too distracting.

Recently the Broadcast console appears to have undergone an overhaul which, while grammatically impeccable, appears to feature more CAPITALISATION and a greater variety of colours. While I recognise that announcements are necessary I would favour a more minimal approach which would increase my sense of immersion and reduce the likelihood of a seizure. I am still new here but I thought I would offer this feedback and create a poll to gauge opinion.

Who doesn't like color? It's supposed to be eye catching.

I'm fairly certain that I set the messages not to be spammy. Only one message a minute. I'm open to add another minute if the masses want it but we need these messages up.

It's SO tempting to vote for Pingus should get a life, but I think they are too distracting.

To the people that voted no, please think a sec about the players gaming in a lower resolution, the console messages are more than 2/3s of my screen personally. Very annoying, and distracting.

I love the contrary it is that these messages appear, it serves for new players (especially at this time because of the messages that the executive has decide to send about tubes)
and it is always a pleasure to see the name and address of KREW appear:D

There are announcements? The only one I ever notice is the one that says I've joined the server over 1500 times and I think to myself, "Oh lawd".

The console message were broken since like May or so (my fault). They were fixed as of last week, so people started seeing the messages besides the one you mentioned :K
