Yay, Infinity Ward, because MW2, MW3 and Ghosts were great games. IMO Black Ops 1 & 2 were a lot better than the late Modern Warfares and Ghosts. Infinity Ward is out of the game. They're burned out and don't have what it takes.

There's still hope for a good PC version since Sledgehammer's making it but I highly doubt it will be any better optimized than Ghosts.

The problem with Activision is that they are trying to copy everyone else, they need to go old school with Call of Duty. They should take a few steps back to what made them great before they started pandering to the console brats. IMO, MW1 was the last really good one and MW2 was decent. Black Ops 1 I got bored of not even halfway through and MW3 I haven't even bothered to play.

Personally, I enjoyed the ones that have the WW2 stories.Probably because there was no actual story.

I'm not sure why people hate on cod so much nowadays. No one said you have to buy it, and to all those saying it's ruining other games and the industry in general, you need only look around to see that there are a freakin ton of games that are all awesome and unique and special in their own crazy ways coming out all the time. If you hate the game, then why waste time bitchin about it on the forum? Spend that time being positive towards somethin you like.

This trailer does look pretty fast-paced and techy, which is cool, but itmakes me want Mirrors Edge 2 even more

On a side note, whether the game is good or not, that jetpack jump "pssss" sound effect is gonna get real old real fast, I'd bet

Well.. I just watched the live gameplay and the maps look a lot cleaner visually along the lines of bo2 which is good...
Can't say how good it will actually play ,it being lan play..so that's iffy.
I'm used to boost jumps and jet packs now from playing Titanfall and Firefall (not related) and I like the vertical play,so that's a plus...
The similarities to other games mechanics is a non issue imo.. all games borrow from others ,otherwise there would be no fps at all after Doom or whatever was the first...
The Infinity Ward issue is also moot because the IW that made COd4 is actually the team that made Titanfall..and as rival said we shall have to see how Sledgehammer handles player feedback and development of the game post production..That and I like Treyarch games also so who knows , we can only hope Sledgehammer handles this better than the recent IW games(mw3/ghosts)
The dedicated private servers is the big factor for it to last any longer than a year as far as clans like us are concerned,I highly doubt they will let ppl run servers(like ours or Battlefield etc), eventually Blacks Ops had rentable servers but the gameplay sucked balls,so that's up in the air as well.

In conclusion..meh I'll get it and hope for the best.I say this because a lot of people hate on BO2 and i love that game so I have learned to come to my own conclusions..I just hope all the chatter amongst the interwebs doesn't kill the game before it's even played..
