Well, as many of you know I switched from laptop to desktop for gaming.

Well, now I will be starting college in the fall, I've decided it's time for me to start looking at laptops.

I will want something that looks nice, performs well, has great battery life, can take a beating(maybe), and is reliable. Oh and affordable. Can't forget that.

Note: I DO NOT want a Macbook. Also, I DO NOT want another HP...

Please post suggestions below. Tablets with mouse/keyboards should be okay for me. But not my first choice.

Again, I will NOT be buying these until maybe this summer. Just thought I'd get a head start on college since I'll be working this summer.

Okay, seeing as I will NOT be buying a mac any longer, I need suggestions on a laptop for school.

Needs to have:
15-17 inch screen
High Res
i5 or i7 CPU
Optical Drive
8GB RAM(at least)
Lots of storage, preferably 1TB.
Windows 7(preferably) but willing to go on Windows 8.
Trusted Brand
Durable

Yeah not bad Nick, I like it as well...

Also, the only difference I saw in the $669 model (your pick) and the others is the extra 500GB of HD space, for an extra 40 bucks it's certainly worth it to me! ;)
